A Frosty Autumn Walk (Poem)

I am a little late posting this, but here is a short Autumn poem I wrote last week one morning while out for a walk with my dog and my baby daughter:

Frosty_Autumn_Morning

The sun shines down

Over a carpet of leaves,

Once golden brown

Now sparkling like jewels.

Frosty_Trees_Middlewich

Shimmering and twinkling

My diamonds of ice,

As Mother Nature turns the wheel

Once, twice and thrice.
