In a world that often feels busy, overwhelming, and uncertain, Reiki has been one of the most important tools in my personal wellbeing journey.
I am Catherine Green, a Reiki Master Practitioner, paranormal author, ghost hunter, and creator of SpookyMrsGreen. Like many people, I balance work, family life, creative projects, and the challenges that everyday life can bring. Reiki has helped me develop resilience, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of calm through all of life’s ups and downs.

What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that originated in Japan and is now used by millions of people around the world.
Many people use Reiki to support:

My Reiki Journey
My Reiki journey began as a personal search for healing, self-discovery, and inner peace.
Over the years I progressed through Reiki training to become a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher. Along the way I discovered that Reiki is not simply a healing modality, but a way of approaching life itself.
It has supported me through career changes, family challenges, health concerns, creative projects, and personal growth.
Today Reiki remains an important part of my daily self-care practice.

Reiki in Everyday Life
One of the most common misconceptions about Reiki is that it only belongs in treatment rooms.
I believe Reiki can be woven into everyday life.
You don’t need a special occasion to practise self-care.
Simple practices can include:
- Taking time to pause and breathe
- Spending time in nature
- Journalling
- Meditation
- Mindful creativity
- Energy awareness
- Following the Reiki precepts
These small moments often create the greatest transformations.
The Reiki Principles
The Reiki precepts offer simple guidance that remains as relevant today as ever.
Just for today:
Do not anger.
Do not worry.
Be humble.
Be honest in your work.
Be kind to every living thing.
Be compassionate.
These principles form the foundation of my Reiki practice and continue to guide me through everyday life.
