As a Reiki Master Practitioner, I am always interested in exploring different approaches to healing, spirituality, and personal development. I enjoy reading books that deepen my understanding of Reiki, exploring the history of our lineage and practice.
I was excited to receive a copy of The Inner Heart of Reiki: Rediscovering Your True Self by Frans Stiene. He is an esteemed Reiki master and someone that I have followed for many years. I have reviewed his books on my blog previously, and I knew this one would be a treat.

My Review of The Inner Heart of Reiki: Rediscovering Your True Self by Frans Stiene
This book takes us back to basics with our Reiki self-care practice. Frans talks us through the simple elements that build our meditation habits. The name is in the title; we are reminded of the inner heart of our Reiki practice. There are separate chapters discussing the Reiki symbols as taught by Mikao Usui, explaining the Japanese kanji and translating the symbols into symbol phrases and meaning that we can use. There are sections about how to meditate with the symbols, reminders about why we practise Reiki and the importance of hands-on healing.
I especially liked the sections in this book that explain the origins of the word Reiki, its meaning and its significance. I recommend this book as a useful resource to keep on your shelf and refer to regularly throughout your Reiki journey.
