I am Now a Crazy Cat (and Dog) Lady!

That’s right, I am a crazy cat lady! We adopted our kittens just over a week ago and they are settling in very well with our dog. I have never lived with cats before, but my friends persuaded me that it was a good idea and here we are.

Cora and Nora are officially my daughters’ cats and they have decided that I am “Big Mummy” which I find rather amusing. Our dog is making sure to stake his claim over me, but I am managing a few cuddles here and there. The kittens have had their first vaccinations and are confident little creatures, roaming the living room and climbing up and down the furniture. They have investigated the TV, behind the sofa, on the windowsills and every other surface they could climb onto. They are adorable and I am very glad we decided to bring them home.

So begins our new adventure as a cat and dog family. Do you have cats and dogs together? Share your stories in the comments.

Aww very cute!!! That photo of Cora & Nora together makes them look like a bundle of fur and legs, and I get the feeling they’ll have you wrapped around their little paws in no time 😉

I think it’s a better way around to do it. Dog first then cat(s). I’ve wanted a golden retriever for years now but I sadly don’t think I’ll ever happen in my lifetime. However, I don’t think our cat would like having a younger but bigger brother in the house at all. He gets oddly possessive, but the rest of the time he couldn’t care less about us hoomans unless he decides to allow me to give him some fuss. I imagine the other way around with the dog first would have been okay. That said, I’ve seen plenty of bloggers with dogs and cats that all get on amazingly, best buds for life.

    Caz xx
