Happy New Year! #2018

Today will be our annual New Year’s Day visit to Talacre Beach in North Wales (weather permitting). Our dog loves this beach. He runs up and down the sand dunes, splashes in the sea, and generally charges around like a juggernaut. I love the bracing fresh air, and I adore the battered old lighthouse that stands proud on the sand. It really fires my imagination…

When we return home I will indulge in my New Year tradition of setting up a new wall calendar and desk diary. I love filling those blank pages with new projects and appointments designed to help us move forward – this January I hope that will involve developments on our house sale – but I leave that in the hands of our estate agents.
