Health and wellbeing is a hot topic, and with so much advice and so many choices out there, where do we start with self-care and improving our personal health and wellbeing? Read my book review for The Holistic Guide to Your Health & Wellbeing Today by Oliver Rolfe and see if this is a good starting point for you.
My Review
I was excited to read this book, and intrigued because the author is not a doctor or a medical professional. His background is in corporate business, and yet he was compelled to collate this book based on his personal experiences and research.
The first section of the book skims through methods for physical selfcare including nutrition, diet, and exercise, but it is clear that the author is more interested in what lies inside the human body. I really enjoyed the chapters that delved into psychology and mental health, offering practical tools and methods to make you feel better, along with more esoteric subjects such as numerology and crystal healing therapy. I was excited to see references for reiki energy healing (I am a reiki Master Practitioner), and how it can be used for selfcare and better health.
I would recommend this book if you are new to selfcare practices or are still searching for something that resonates with you. It is a useful reference guide, and I am sure I will dip into it frequently as my selfcare journey continues.

Clearly, Oliver Rolfe is in the wrong line of “business”. If he is inspired to create something this useful, why spend his days moving money around?
I was curious about his bio myself, but clearly he has his reasons for needing to write this book.
