#AtoZChallenge Day 19: Simon Bunce and Sally Frost

Today I will share a little information about two supporting characters in the Redcliffe Novels series of LGBT fantasy books for adults.

Simon Bunce and Sally Frost are closely linked, and they share this space very happily. We meet both of them in the first book Love Hurts (A Redcliffe Novel), and their relationships with Jessica, Jack and Danny develop throughout the series.

#AtoZChallenge Day 19: Simon Bunce and Sally Frost

Simon Bunce is manager of the Ship Inn and a keen surfer. He is in love with Danny Mason, and Simon is the werewolf lieutenant of the Redcliffe pack. He has been ruling the pack in Danny’s absence, and when Danny returns from Scotland in Love Hurts (A Redcliffe Novel), the submissive wolves struggle to acknowledge their true leader. Many of them have only known Simon.

Jessica Stone met Simon shortly after she moved to Redcliffe, and the Ship Inn became her local pub. They hit it off and became close friends. Through Simon, Jessica met Sally Frost. Sally is a nurse at the local hospital, and she is third in command of the Redcliffe werewolf pack. She helped Simon to rule the pack while Danny was away, and Sally is devoted to her master. She knows that Danny would choose Simon above her any day, and that hurts, but she cannot change her feelings.

More romantic entanglements

We get to know a little more about Simon and Sally during Love Kills (A Redcliffe Novel), not least their complicated romantic entanglements with the werewolf alpha. They try to help Jessica as she learns to cope with her new life after she discovers the truth about her friends and lover. They work with Danny to strengthen the Redcliffe pack and reinforce his place as alpha. Tradegy strikes in Love Redeems (A Redcliffe Novel), and the Redcliffe pack suffers terrible loss. Our supporting characters are firmly embedded in the history of their beloved town, and they will never be forgotten by their alpha.

Now I invite you to check out my fellow #atozchallenge bloggers. You will find some weird and wonderful articles, and we can all make new friends. See you tomorrow for the next letter in our #atozchallenge.
