Wow, What a Weekend! Goddess Summoning, Celtic music, Friends and Family

Phew, I have had an amazing weekend! It took me totally by surprise, and I am still reeling from the sheer power, energy and love that was raised.

I attended a Mind, Body and Spirit event at Walton Hall in Warrington, Cheshire, UK. It was organised by Sugabudda Media and was the first event where my sister would be offering holistic therapies. I went along, with our friend ‘the Green Man’ for moral support.

Wow, What a Weekend!

Emily is the proprietor of Eternal Healing Therapies and she is a fully qualified practitioner in a range of holistic therapies. She offers Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Swedish Body Massage, Hot Stone therapy, Reflexology, and Hopi Ear Candles. My sister is also a shaman in training, and that is where the weekend took an interesting turn.

Our friend Jon is a druid and a professional musician. He plays a number of instruments, including saxophone, guitar, wooden flute and tin whistle. Jon is known as ‘the Faun’ or ‘the Green Man’ because he spends a lot of time sitting in trees communing with nature and playing music.

The witch, the shaman and the druid

So, we were the witch, the shaman and the druid. It was going to be a fun weekend! And sure enough, we met a lot of ‘kin folk’ at the event. One was Richard Keogh, the Angelman, who Emily and I had met a few times in previous years. This time we were able to talk, and made a great connection. We also met Nick Ashron, psychic artist and musician. It was fabulous!

There is too much to describe in one post, so you will see several spiritual articles during the next week or so. Basically I had the opportunity to spend time alone in nature, I relaxed without worrying about domestic and career affairs, and I meditated a lot. I also received some reiki drum treatment from my sister which was incredible and will be described in detail later. Suffice to say I had a Goddess awakening, I finally feel at one with my true self, and I am ready to embrace the world in all its glory and love. Happy times!
