Beltane Blessings! I am Ready for Change

Merry Beltane, my friends! How are you celebrating the turn of the wheel? To be honest I will not be celebrating much for the next few weeks. I will be busy packing up our house ready to move. But after that, it will be party central in our new, big garden, hooray!

Moving house comes at a time when I and my family are ready for change. Many of us feel that we have been stuck in a rut for a very long time, myself included, and now there is the opportunity to expand and grow. I realised last week that I had drifted away from my Craft in recent months, so consumed was I with personal woes and struggle. But then I thought about it properly, and I knew that actually, this is all part of my Craft.

Being a witch is about being intuitive, about recognising when there is an issue, and actively working to put it right. I have been doing just that in my own little way, and now I am working hard to move my husband, children and pets into a new, larger family home where we can grow and mature. I say goodbye to the Maiden, and I become the Mother. Who is with me?
