My Product Review of Body Shop Vitamin C Skincare Range ☀

NEW Vitamin C 🌟 Glow like never before!

I was very excited to receive a selection of Vitamin C skincare products to review for Body Shop. I have previously used Vitamin E skincare and while it worked well for my sensitive skin, it doesn’t have much of a scent. The first thing I did was stick my nose in a pot of Vitamin C moisturising cream to get a whiff, and it smells gorgeous! It’s like summer in a face cream, perfect for the time of year.

What I received for Review:

New Glow Revealing Serum

“Enriched with bakuchiol, together with 10% natural-origin vitamin C, it’s our highest concentration ever. Our serum helps reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation¹, delivering 24hr hydration to reveal radiant-looking skin.”

I have tried a few different serums recently and this is one of my favourites. It feels refreshing and smells lovely, and it melts into my skin without feeling sticky or greasy.

Daily Glow Cleansing Polish

“Now with 92% natural-origin ingredients, our Daily Glow Cleansing Polish

gently buffs away dead skin cells to help reveal that radiance.”

The cleansing polish was interesting, and I wasn’t sure how best to apply it. I settled for using a washable cotton pad and smoothing the cleansing polish onto my face. It did feel a bit heavy for me, but then I have a medical condition that makes my facial nerves extra sensitive, so I’m sure it is fine for regular skin. I like the exfoliating element to this cleanser, but it did take a bit of time and a warm flannel to remove all the bits. It isn’t really for people who need a quick morning facial routine, but it is a nice, luxurious product.

Glow Boosting Moisturiser

Give dull and tired skin a little va-va-voom with our Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Moisturiser.

  • Daily glow-boosting moisturiser
  • For all skin types, including sensitive skin
  • 24H hydration
  • Leaves skin feeling smoother and noticeably softer
  • Made with 96% natural origin ingredients, including camu camu berry extract
  • Certified by The Vegan Society
  • Dermatologically tested

This is my favourite product out of the three that I sampled. The moisturiser is lightweight, it smells like summer, and it left my skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. I would use this on its own, but I can also appreciate the importance of using all three products together for a thorough daily facial cleanse. 5* for this one from me!

What is Bakuchiol?

This plant-based antioxidant is a key ingredient in the Vitamin C skincare range and is suitable for most skin types. I am always dubious about changing my facial skincare because of my super-sensitive skin, but I have been using Body Shop products for most of my life and I trust that they work for me.
