I Need a Holiday!

Wow, where did our half-term holiday go? It flew past in a blur of activity and busyness. I had vaguely hoped to take my daughters away for a short break, even if it was to stay with my mum for a few days, but that never happened. Instead we had to clean house and prepare for viewings from potential buyers, we had opticians’ appointments, and there was some drama concerning my husband’s job that I cannot discuss in a public forum.

In conclusion, I need a holiday! Where and when is the question. I am loathe to book too far in advance because I am conscious that we could sell our house very soon and there would be a lot of hassle with the moving process. But at the same time, we cannot put our lives on hold. And then there are the finances, which are not great. We live basically on a single income, supplemented by whatever freelance work I can procure. Holidays are a rare luxury for this young family. But there are possibilities. Pontins are offering 2018 family holidays starting at £59 per apartment. Perhaps I shall book one of those. Now which site should we visit?
