Hello, my spooky friends! It’s Witchy Wednesday, and today we’re celebrating one of the sweetest and most magical full moons of the year — the Strawberry Full Moon.
Now, don’t get too excited — there won’t be actual strawberries hanging in the sky (though wouldn’t that be delightful?). The name comes from Native American and European traditions marking the time of year when strawberries are ripe for harvest. 🌾🍓
This year, the Strawberry Moon brings an extra special treat for us moon-gazers and witches. The full moon is appearing closer to the horizon than usual — meaning it will look larger and more golden when it first rises. This low-hanging moon is perfect for adding extra power to your full moon rituals and casting a warm glow over your spellwork.
Embracing the Magic of the Moment
I must confess… my crystal collection is looking a little dusty, and my altar could do with a proper cleanse. 😅 It seems my magical practice has gone a bit stagnant — life has been busy, and I’ve neglected those small, sacred moments that nourish the spirit.
So if you, like me, need a gentle nudge to reconnect with your magic, this is the perfect time! The Strawberry Full Moon is all about abundance, sweetness, and renewal — ideal energies for sweeping out the cobwebs (literal and metaphorical) and inviting fresh enchantment into your life. 🕯️✨
Full Moon Spell: Sweet Renewal Ritual
Here’s a simple spell you can try tonight under the Strawberry Full Moon:
You will need:
- A white or pink candle
- A bowl of water
- A few drops of rose or strawberry oil (or fresh strawberry juice if you prefer)
- Your favourite crystals (even if they’re dusty — we’ll sort that out!)
- Pen and paper
The spell:
- Cleanse your space — light your candle and gently waft the flame near your crystals and your working area to symbolically clear away old energy. You can also speak aloud:
“I cleanse this space of all that is stale. I welcome fresh, flowing energy.” - Place your bowl of water in the moonlight (by a window or outside if possible). Add the rose or strawberry oil.
- Write on your paper what you wish to renew or attract: fresh inspiration, renewed magical connection, love, abundance, joy — whatever speaks to you.
- Fold the paper and hold it over the bowl. Imagine the energy of the Strawberry Moon charging the water with vibrant, sweet magic. Say:
“By the light of the Strawberry Moon, I welcome sweet renewal. May this energy flow through me and my life.” - Gently sprinkle a few drops of the moon-charged water onto your crystals and altar items to cleanse and reactivate them. You can also anoint yourself with the water for a personal blessing.
- Close your ritual by thanking the moon and extinguishing your candle.
A Little Witchy Reminder…
Remember, you don’t have to be perfect in your practice. The wheel of the year turns whether we show up with a grand ritual or a cup of tea under the stars. The key is to return, to reconnect — even if your crystals have gathered dust and your spell books are buried under life’s clutter. (I’m speaking from experience here! 😅)
So let’s embrace this beautiful Strawberry Full Moon together. Take a deep breath, sweep out that stagnant energy, and let’s reinvoke our magic. The moon is rising to meet us, large and glowing, full of possibilities.
Blessed Full Moon, my lovelies! 🌕🍓✨

I’m charging Moon Water at the moment. Though my happiness is non existent as these ICE Fascists and the US army are entering the streets to repress the people.
Yes, I heard a little about the US on BBC news, it sounds crazy. I am rushing around trying to do all my cleansing and cleaning jobs at home before I do a shift at the bargain store where I work part time. But I managed to pick some strawberries and put them out to infuse in the sunlight and gather some moon energy for tonight when I get home.
Yeah it’s getting to the point where now we fear even talking about it openly on the internet. I am so tired of this shit
