This Witchy Wednesday, I am buzzing with excitement as I prepare for a thrilling ghost hunt at the infamous Newsham Park Hospital in Liverpool. This eerie, abandoned building has long been on my paranormal bucket list, and I finally have the chance to explore its dark corridors and shadowy corners.
As a seasoned ghost hunter, I know that no two investigations are ever the same, and I am eager to see what spirits might reveal themselves to us during our visit.
Ghost Hunting at Newsham Park Hospital
Newsham Park Hospital is one of the most well-known haunted locations in England. With its long history as an orphanage, asylum, and later a hospital, the building has accumulated layers of energy over the years. Countless reports of ghostly figures, unexplained noises, and chilling encounters have intrigued paranormal enthusiasts for decades. This weekend, I hope to experience some of that supernatural activity first-hand. I will bring my usual investigative tools, including the Spirit Talker app, dowsing rods, and flashing cat balls, to see what kind of responses we might get.
However, while I am excited for the adventure ahead, this week has been particularly challenging for me. My chronic Dry Eye Syndrome has flared up, leaving me with painful inflammation that makes even the simplest tasks difficult. Anyone who has struggled with chronic eye discomfort will understand just how draining it can be. The constant irritation, sensitivity to light, and fatigue have been a real test of patience, especially as I try to juggle my daily responsibilities. But I am determined to recover enough to fully enjoy my ghost hunt this weekend!
Reiki is a Lifesaver
Thankfully, my Reiki self-care routine has been a lifesaver during this difficult time. Regular energy healing sessions help to soothe the discomfort and promote healing, and I have also been turning to my trusty aromatherapy oils for extra relief. Lavender and eucalyptus are my go-to essential oils for relaxation and pain management, and they have been working wonders in helping me stay grounded and focused. With the help of my holistic practices, I am doing my best to nurture my body and spirit, ensuring that I am in the best possible condition for the weekend.
So, as I count down the days until my visit to Newsham Park Hospital, I am embracing the balance between rest and preparation. I look forward to sharing my ghost hunting experiences with you all next week. Will we capture EVPs? Will we see shadow figures lurking in the darkness? Only time will tell!
