Playing in the Park – A Poem by Georgina Green (age 7)

As I watch kids

playing in the park

I hear kids saying

I don’t want to go home.

You may want to ask

Why am I not playing?

Well I am sitting down

Writing my lovely poem.

Poem written by Georgina Green, age 7.

My daughters wanted to publish their work online and asked me for some blog space – how could I refuse? Please do leave a comment to tell them if you like what they write.
