My Review of “Life is a Song of Love: A Woman’s Spiritual Journey of the Heart and Womb” by Sally Patton

This book resonated with me deeply and it was a pleasure to read. There were a few too many references to and quotes from a couple of other books within the book for my liking, but it didn’t detract from the overall message. Sally imparts wisdom acquired from her life experiences and I think she explains very well how women have evolved over the years (some might say devolved), and how we are finally starting to take back our power in the male/female energy struggle. This book is not about women being angry and blaming men for everything that goes wrong in the world. It is about women using their voice, being independent, being supportive and accepting support, something that can be challenging for so many of us.

I think you should read this book if you are deeply connected to your feminine self, or you want to connect more deeply. It will remind you to look within, to hold challenging conversations with those close to you, and to take control of yourself and your life rather than blaming the world for everything that you don’t like. We are powerful women. We just need to express it. Sally discusses parent/child relationships, the issues around sex and what it means to men and women, and how to heal emotional wounds from such experiences.

About the Book

For over half her life, Sally Patton has engaged in a contemplative, spiritual practice to awaken from separation consciousness. In “Life Is a Song of Love,” she draws upon channelled non-dual teachings from Yeshua and Mother Mary, combined with a variety of teachings from many faith traditions and spiritual paths, to answer a unique call to be an emissary of Divine Feminine Compassionate Consciousness. The Holy Mother has returned to heal into wholeness the division between feminine and masculine energies, necessary to end thousands of years of patriarchal domination. Sally helps women wake to the strength of the Mother within, embracing the sacredness of all life on Mother Earth.
