Getting Back to Work

This week sees the return of the new school year for our children in the UK. For me it is the start of the preschool term for my eldest daughter, and I have to say I am glad to see it!

The summer has been a crazy time for us as we settled in to life with the new baby while trying to ensure that our eldest daughter didn’t feel neglected or forgotten. She actually told me she missed her friends at playschool, although she did see a few of them during the holidays. Anyway, now she is back and we are beginning to get back into our work routine.

Getting Back to Work

First I have an exciting announcement to make. My fourth novel, “The Darkness of Love,” will be released on 15th October, hooray! It was originally planned for release in September, but had to be postponed due to the aforementioned newborn baby. Still, since it is a Victorian vampire love story, I think it will fit nicely into the Halloween season for promotions and marketing. I will do a cover reveal shortly, and look out for updates as I embark on my media networking campaign to spread the word about this hot new paranormal romance novel…

Aside from promotions for “The Darkness of Love,” I plan to return to a manuscript I had previously stalled on while still pregnant. I am beginning to gather new ideas and plot fillers for my vampire hunter novel, so I am confident that I can rescue it from the doldrums and turn it into another masterpiece. It will just take a little time to perfect. I also plan to participate in NaNoWriMo 2013 this year, and I intend to use the challenge as a motivation to begin writing book 4 in the Redcliffe novels series. This will be an adventure, since I have no idea what is in store for Jessica, Jack and Danny on their next adventure… All I know is that it will be very exciting, dramatic, and fraught with emotion!
