I recently read “The Paris Apartment” by Lucy Foley for my local book club, and I borrowed the book from my local library.

My Review of “The Paris Apartment” by Lucy Foley
I really didn’t enjoy this book. It took me about a month to read it, which shows just how little it grabbed my attention. Once I started reading it, I was determined to finish. The story was interesting but predictable, and it all wrapped up a little too neatly for my liking at the end. It gave me a Poirot vibe. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and didn’t feel any kind of strong emotion for them. The one thing I did like about this was the description of the creepy old house at the centre of the story, the Gothic style captured my imagination. I would have preferred a few vampires in this story!
