Temptation is everywhere in the Redcliffe novels LGBT fantasy book series for adults. The first examples that spring to mind are the romantic and lustful temptations between Jessica Stone and Jack and Danny Mason.

In fact, temptation translates into love triangles between several of our leading characters. Jessica finds herself irresistibly drawn to the vampires and werewolves, more so after she discovers their secrets. She wants to resist, but is she strong enough?

In the first book, Love Hurts (A Redcliffe Novel), Jessica Stone is determined to remain independent and free of complications. This all disappears when she meets the deliciously tempting and charismatic Jack Mason, followed by his identical twin brother, Danny. Against her better judgement, Jessica enters into a passionate and traumatic love affair, and this is only the beginning.

Love Kills (A Redcliffe Novel) brings more elements of temptation into the story. Not only is Jessica fighting with her moral and personal ideals, but she learns more about her heritage as a witch. She is far more powerful and potentially more dangerous than any of the vampires or werewolves could have imagined. She must now learn to harness her gifts, and not lash out in retaliation when her human life is falling apart.

Temptation and lust

By the time we reach Love Redeems (A Redcliffe Novel), temptation is once again swinging towards the lustful side of life. Jessica has committed acts that she would never have even considered possible, she has opened up her witch nature with disastrous consequences, and she has very little of her former humanity left to show. All that remains is her fierce love for the vampire Jack, and her confused attachment to his werewolf brother Danny. And then there is Marcus Scott… What is a girl to do?
