Now that we’re halfway through October, my mind is well and truly on spooky season. Whether you’re hosting a themed movie night, decorating your home for visiting ghosts and goblins, or helping your teenagers plan their own frightful gatherings, there are so many ways to keep the spirit of Halloween alive.

🕯️ Set the Scene
Start with your home. Create a magical atmosphere with flickering candles (LED for safety), cobwebs, pumpkins, and maybe a few fake spiders for good measure. Even if your children are too cool for dressing up, they’ll still love the eerie glow of jack-o’-lanterns and spooky fairy lights.

If you’re staying home to hand out sweets, stock up on your favourites and maybe add a few healthier alternatives. It’s always fun to prepare some home-baked goodies or seasonal snacks to share with visiting trick-or-treaters.
