Written by A Woman for Women – New Guide Shares How to be Financially Savvy

Identifying that most female teenagers and young women have no idea about their personal finances and generating wealth, Elinor Davison is on a mission to share the basics of investing with this fun, short, easy to read and understand book with colourful pages and cute illustrations.

A compelling read for all women looking to control their current and future finances, Elinor Davison’s The Women’s Simple Guide to Investing fills a much needed gap in the personal finance guidebook section, and has been written specifically for those with no previous financial know-how.

Working on the basis that knowledge provides power, the sage advice and straightforward language that runs throughout this concise book (just 75 pages) is guaranteed to keep its female audience engaged, informed and empowered to take action. It also uses colourful and fun illustrations (courtesy of the author’s thirteen year old son) to reinforce her financial advice.

Whether  devoured in one sitting, or dipped into time and time again, The Women’s Simple Guide to Investing should be deemed mandatory reading for women just starting out on their financial journey, as well as those in middle age who, due to a host of potentially unplanned or unsolicited circumstances (for example divorce, death of a partner) are required to step up to the financial plate.

Synopsis:

If you want to learn about money, but you don’t like long boring text books. This book is for you! If you are feeling its time to take control over your finances but you don’t know where to start, this book is for you!

This is a fun, colourful and simple book about investing and money management. Especially for beginners! If you have always wanted to know more about money, then this book is for you. It will teach you the basics of finance and investments in a fun and easy way.

The book will teach you:
– why you need to invest your money.
-what is passive income.
-what is yield and return and how do we calculate them.
-what is property investments and why you need to know about it.
-what are stocks and bonds.
-and more…

The author says:

“I wrote the book because I found that many women have no clue about money. Many rely on the person next to them to manage their finances, which can lead to frustration and a lack of control. Moreover, sometimes women find themselves in the middle of their lives after a divorce or a sudden death, lost without knowing anything about what to do with their money. Written to help women understand the basics of investments without reading a long text book, it just takes about 1-2 hours from start to finish, or readers can just flick through it randomly.

“It also makes a great gift from a mother to her daughter and vice versa: and is generally a great gift for all women.”

Independently published, The Women’s Simple Guide to Investing is available in paperback from Amazon US; Amazon UK.

About the author:
