Meet Your Newly Qualified Karuna Reiki Practitioner

I am now a qualified Karuna Reiki Practitioner following a training course in November.

What is Karuna Reiki, you might ask? Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It translates as “compassionate action.”

The purpose of the course was for me to go deeper into my own psyche and explore memories and parts of myself that needed healing. This can take many forms, but in my case, I addressed abandonment issues with my teenage self. It was an emotional meditation, leaving me both laughing and crying over what I experienced, but I came out feeling lighter and brighter than I did before. This is the purpose of reiki healing energy, whichever school of reiki you train with.

Karuna reiki gave me the opportunity to do what we call shadow work, healing myself deeply and carefully, so that I may feel better able to help others heal during my daily reiki practice. I now look forward to participating in a Holy Fire reiki course with my teacher early next year, and I will bring my new experiences and knowledge into my work as a reiki Master practitioner and healer.

Are you ready to go deeper and heal yourself from within? Book your reiki therapy session now. Have a lovely week!
