Christmas will be much quieter this year due to the pandemic and social distancing. We are encouraged not to mix with friends or family members from other households and instead to hunker down at home, keeping ourselves and other people safe from Covid-19.
How can we keep ourselves and our children entertained during the school Christmas holidays? Here are some suggestions:
1, A Free Taste of Audible – do you enjoy reading and want to make it a family affair? Check out the free books available on Audible. Treat your ears to some of Audible’s top picks of 2020, yours completely free!
2, Amazon Kids+ 3-month family plan for £2.99 – Amazon Kids+ is an all-in-one subscription that gives kids access to thousands of kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, Audible books and games on compatible Fire and Kindle devices. My daughter has this on her Kindle, and she loves exploring what is available and playing the games. Anything for 5 minutes’ peace!
3, Amazon Music Unlimited – until 11th January 2021, you can get three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free. For a limited time, customers can play any of 70 million songs on demand, ad-free, and even offline. See the offer here. Renews automatically. New subscribers only. My daughters and I love a disco night at home on the weekends!
4, Prime Student – Do you have older children who are students? This will keep them entertained while they are self-isolating. Until 31st December 2020, Prime Student members can get 10 % off selected clothing and shoes. Click here.
5, Kindle Unlimited – until 31st December 2020, you can enjoy six months at 50 % off of Kindle Unlimited. Indulge your reading habit without overloading the bookshelves and take some time for yourself. Share a family book, and rediscover old classics that you can share with the younger generation.
