I am a huge believer in the Law of Attraction (LOA). This is the belief that whatever you think about and focus on in your life, becomes your reality. For example, I always wanted to be an author, ever since I was a little girl. As I grew up, I was convinced that I wasn’t clever enough or that people wouldn’t want to read my stories. A chance conversation one day prompted me to finally write something down, and now, almost ten years later, I have published several novels and short stories, and I continue to write more.
I genuinely believe that my writing career has progressed so suddenly because I finally believed in myself, put in some effort to reaching my goals, and concentrated on it. The more I focus on it, the better it gets. This happens in all areas of my life, from simple everyday occurrences, to more powerful life-changing ones. And it could be a reality for you, too, if you allow it. For example, I just qualified as a Reiki Master Practitioner and teacher following four years of dedicated training and self-healing practice, alongside working with other people to provide healing and support. I didn’t plan to start a business straight away, thinking it was something to do when I got older and my children were less dependent. But guess what? Goldstone Reiki has burst onto the scene, and now I can welcome clients into a therapy room at my local clinic, Cheshire Lasers.
Think about it. Every day in the media we see negative stories. We hear about death and destruction, natural disasters and the global economic crisis. The more stories we hear, the more negativity seems to grow. Yet we can all think of at least one person in our social peer group who is always happy and content, and who doesn’t seem to have any major problems. That is because they attract positive reactions through their actions and thoughts. They still experience everything that we do, but they respond differently. They are able to see past the bad stuff and to focus on the good.
Let us move into 2021 with an informed, independent and forward-thinking attitude. Let us learn from the pandemic, learn from our experiences, and look to a happier future.

Believing in myself is still missing, while I have written about 50 books and have published 2 of them. Have to go to exercise some self-confidence. Thank you for the inspiring article!
You’re welcome! It is a challenging journey but worthwhile. I personally have come a long way in 4 years through my Reiki practice, and my meditation and self-confidence journey has been ongoing for 15 years. Merry Christmas! 🙂
