Some days I wonder if my house will ever be tidy. Before we moved, I used to blame the fact that we had no space, it was our small house that made us look messy. But now we are in a bigger house, and still untidy. And I can’t just blame my children. Although they do cause most of it. We are a creative family, you see, and with creativity comes chaos. My daughters are currently obsessed with cutting up bits of paper to make dolls and furniture for their games. It is very cute, but quite frustrating when I must pick up their discarded scraps all over the living room!
I wouldn’t have them any other way. Who needs a tidy house? Ok, it might be nice some of the time, and I do manage to tidy up at least once a week. I love the creative process, and I enjoy sharing my love of crafts with my daughters. At the weekend we took a daytrip to the ICHF Hobbycraft exhibition in Manchester, bought some new goodies, and had fun with Decopatch on Sunday afternoon. We got an early start on our Halloween decorations! I wonder what creative genius I will witness this week?
