It feels like we are emerging from a very long and very cold winter season. I was looking back at photos from the past three and four years during the Easter holiday, and back then we were playing in the garden wearing short sleeves and sandals. This year we have only just begun to venture out without wearing a huge winter coat! And we are still not quite convinced that the weather is warming up yet. It is very strange.
I was heartened to see the cherry blossom finally blooming on my favourite trees in Middlewich, however. They look so cheerful and playful, and when I walk or drive past them on my way home, they always make me smile. Of course, these trees will not form part of my way home from school for much longer. You see, as we begin to embrace the spring season, and look forward to summer, I will be packing up our home and our family as we move on to a bigger, more permanent, family home. We remain in the same town, with the same school, but we are upsizing, and it is about bloody time! Now, where shall I pack my crystals and Tarot cards?!
