All Change for my Little Girl (and Mummy)

Today marks the beginning of a big countdown for me and several of my local mum friends. Our youngest children are now in their final month at preschool, and before we know it, all of our babies will be at primary school, and we will suddenly have a gaping hole in our daily lives. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it! I mean, I knew this day would come, but after walking to and from preschool and getting to know the teachers and parents for the past 5 years, this will be a huge change of routine. And we don’t like change! But it has to happen. My little girl is more than ready for big school, as are her friends. It’s just us mums that need to pull ourselves together and get over it.

Anyway, on a more practical note, a new school year can only mean one thing: new shoes. If you are like me, and you do the old-fashioned routine of visiting your local Clarks shoe store to have the children’s feet measured, then check out their big summer sale. Up to 50% off all shoes, including children’s, up until Wednesday 28th June, and then further reductions to be confirmed afterwards. Let’s try and be organised, eh? Have a good week, and make those cuddles count!
