“Have a cup of tea, Duck!” – can you guess which part of the country I come from? A clue for my international readers: it’s in the North of England. Nowadays I refer to having a cup of tea as “having a brew,” since I married a Wigan lad and spent a few years living in and around Greater Manchester.
