It is officially 1 week to Christmas, and I think I have finally found my mojo. This week has been rather stressful for different reasons, but it ended very nicely when I watched my elder daughter perform her school nativity and then a Christmas concert on Friday. She has been so busy at school, rehearsing for performances and practising various routines, that I am beginning to see why her behaviour has been a little challenging. The poor child is exhausted!

Today we are preparing for a big birthday party with friends, to celebrate a 50^th. Happy Birthday, John! I think it is more an excuse for the mummies to get together and demolish a few bottles of prosecco. I have already blanked out Sunday as a “hangover day.” Yes, this mummy needs to let off some steam, put on her dancing shoes, and welcome Christmas in true, drunken style. Who’s with me?
