It has been a couple of weeks since I completed NaNoWriMo and continued work on a manuscript for book 5 in my Redcliffe novels series. The first draft is still waiting completion, but I simply haven’t found the time to do any proper writing this month, what with all the craziness of Christmas and preparing for the festive weekend.

Well, lastnight it seems my Muse decided to wake up a little bit. I had a very strange dream which featured a few people that I know casually in my home town. What I mean is that these are people who I know by sight, who I perhaps see as I walk around town or hurry to and from school, but we never stop to speak, other than saying a quick “hello.” It seems that they have made an impression on my Muse, however. She decided to present them in my dream as shapeshifters, and rather exotic ones at that! Suffice to say I have the idea for yet another novel that I may start writing in 2017…Oh, and in the dream I was a newly turned vampire!
