Christmas Party Dress from… Oxfam!

I am in love with charity shops! Most of my clothes are now second hand, and I even set myself a challenge to try and do the bulk of my Christmas shopping this year in charity shops and on websites like eBay. I love the idea of finding clothes that other people might have given up or got bored of, so you know you won’t have any embarrassing moments when you find someone at the party wearing the same dress or outfit.

Now, I do have a preferred style. I am a little Goth girl at heart, but I also love colour, and I have a bit of a thing for leopard print. It brings out my wild side! Imagine my delight when I found this gorgeous Miss Selfridge Jade Leopard Print Embossed Velvet Cocktail Dress. It is an unusual colour, the style is quirky and it looks comfortable, it is one of my favourite tactile fabrics, and it is leopard print!

One thing I love to do at Christmas is bring out the sequins, and the silver sparkle. Well, I like to sparkle at any time of year, but even more so at Christmas. This cute little Silver Sequin Cocktail Dress is very sparkly, and an absolute bargain at just £9.99.

And, finally, I found the perfect LBD to satisfy both my inner Goth, and my inner style queen personality. I really liked the look of this Jet Black Sweetheart Chiffon Velvet Dress. Timeless classic design, my favourite velvet, can be worn with colour pop shoes and bag for a twist, and is a bargain price. Excellent!
