This weekend sees the opening of the annual Christmas Markets in our towns and cities across the UK (and beyond). Tomorrow I am very excited to visit Chester Christmas Market, and I will be sharing photos on my Instagram feed over the weekend, and reporting back on my adventures next week. I do love the Christmas markets, with their cosy log cabins, pretty lights, sweet treats and mulled wine. Better still, I am going child-free with a group of mum friends, so we might actually finish a few conversations. Hooray!

Are you planning to visit your local Christmas market this year? Last year I visited Manchester Christmas Market, and before that it was Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Maybe you fancy a weekend away somewhere, to do your Christmas shopping in style. Don’t forget that you can still book a bargain break with Travelodge for £35 or less. They have over 1 million winter rooms available, so go on, treat yourself. Cheers!
