A Warming Brew as the Season Turns

This week we have seen a definite move towards Autumn here in the North West. We had a particularly dull start to the day on Tuesday, but eventually it did brighten up and we saw some sunshine. I have been a little preoccupied, since I have had to play nursemaid to my youngest daughter, who came home early from preschool right at the start of the week, having contracted a virus from somewhere. She is recovered now, and all back to normal, but it did throw out my routine for a couple of days.

Anyway, I have been experimenting with new tea flavours recently, and now I am growing more excited at the prospect of colder weather. That is because it gives me the perfect excuse to snuggle down on the sofa with a large mug of hot chocolate. I know, the weather doesn’t have to be cold to drink hot chocolate, but I think it always tastes better on those days, don’t you?
