Quietly Growing Beneath the Ice

Blogging101 – I am slowly working through the WordPress programme, and here is a post with a prompt. I looked at the Daily Post page, and the prompt for the day was ‘seasons.’ How do we interpret the season? Do we have a photograph to share, or a particular event happening at this time that can be related to the turn of the season? Well, yes, actually I do.

Town Wharf MiddlewichAt this time we are experiencing a cold snap in the North of England. After a very mild winter, we now have frost on the ground and ice on the river and canal. The sun is shining, the sky is a magnificent rich blue colour, and I can see blossom and buds on many of the trees and shrubbery that I walk past every day. It is a time of quiet development in the natural world.

I am working away at my roots to build a successful, profitable, vibrant small business that may eventually grow into something far bigger and more grand than I can currently imagine. I don’t know. The possibilities are endless… And my new kitchen is looking very pretty, thank you for asking!
