Good Morning everybody, how are you on this fine Monday morning? I am enjoying a peaceful day of work at home while my children are entertained at school and preschool. This week we are celebrating #NationalBreakfastWeek in an effort to encourage people to start off their day the right way. Personally, I rarely skip breakfast. My mum drilled into me from a very young age that I must always eat something before I leave the house for school or work. And now that habit is being passed on to my children, who will not do anything before they have had their morning cereal.
Join the conversation this afternoon on Twitter from 1-2pm with #MissionBreakfast in association with @Britmums and @BreakfastWeek, and you could win prizes, discover new recipes, and learn the importance of eating your breakfast. I scoffed a croissant before I went on the school run this morning, but I was still hungry, so when I got home I prepared a very tasty snack of tinned tomatoes and fried egg on toast, sprinkled with a little black pepper. Delicious!
Oh how I long for the day that I can say “I work from home”!
