A beautiful, inspiring post from one of the women who set me on my journey as a published author… thank you, Debz!
How will you remember me?
Don’t be mistaken. This isn’t intended to be a sad post, why it’s Monday and life is too precious to be sad. She was a very gentle unassuming soul and since that is how she lived, that is how she slipped away and that is how her farewell was. It was soft, gentle and actually was lovely. She didn’t have children and so perhaps while all funerals are sad, there was no shock, or despair, just a gentle goodbye and lots of smiles at the wake. And it got me thinking.
That’s how it should be; not the way it was with my Lee, desperate and devastating, and gone too soon, it should be soft and gentle…
