Today I was compelled to pull out my newest Tarot deck, the Inner Child Cards: A Fairy-Tale Tarot. These cards are very large and quite difficult to handle, but their colours are beautiful and I really like working with them. Here is today’s reading:

Our card for morning was the Nine of Wands. You wake up anticipating the day ahead. Some people may feel  nervous, not sure what to expect. Be gentle with yourself, and keep your personal expectations reasonable. You are only human!

The card for noon was the Ten of Hearts. Know your limitations. If you are struggling with a task, accept the help of other people. They are ready and willing. You are surrounded by love and your support network is all around you in the form of colleagues, friends and family members. Let them take some of the weight off your shoulders and you can enjoy your day.

Finally we had our card for evening, which was Little Red Cap. Take pleasure in the small luxuries of your life. A tasty evening meal, a chocolate treat, a walk in the countryside or in your local park, or whatever else cheers you up after a long day. You know there are dangers lurking out in the wilderness of human life, but for now you need not be concerned. Relax in the now, so you can be prepared for the future.
