Today I very excitedly picked up 3 copies of our local newspaper, the Middlewich Guardian from the newsagent, and found a rather large photograph of me and my book, together with a lovely article. Of course I only needed 1 copy of the newspaper, but my Mum wants one, and so does a close friend. Ah it’s great to be loved!
I have been contacting newspapers, websites, local bookshops, and wracking my brains to come up with original ways to promote and sell more copies of my book. I need a new car, people! I had to give up my old one ready for the baby…
Which brings me to playtime. Aside from the writing, I am rushing about between NCT coffee mornings, and local groups at Middlewich Surestart children’s centre. So far we are doing a second course of Baby Massage, a first course of Baby Yoga, and will be attending Fun Under One and our weekly Together Time sessions. Phew!
And somewhere in there we might find time to walk the dog, and possibly do some housework, I’m not sure…
